My daughter has been tried on Whole Milk, Soy Milk, and now Isomil 2 none of the above seems to help the problem. Juice seems to make her worse. She eats fine thought, the only real problem is she seems to have constant diaper rash. The doc wants to take her off all milk for 2 weeks which seems odd to me. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

BRAT diet and pedialite sounds great to me. If your doctor tells you to take your baby off milk, do it. Check with pediatrician.
Brat diet:
Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast(dry, no butter, you can mash banana and smear on there.)
This should clear up diarrhea. Also, plenty of bananas will keep your child's potassium level up.
When my son(then 18months old) had a bad week(nearly a week) of diarrhea his body was stripped a lot of his potassium, pedialyte and bananas were what my doctor wanted me to fill him full of.
Juice will make it worse. Too sugary. Avoid juices. Use just water.
Diaper Rash: Your doctor can prescribe a nice cream to clear that up in a day(canesten or cortate), you can actually buy canesten without a prescription..it's in the footcare aisle of the drug store(it's for use of athletes foot too..but it's good for your baby's bum. Trust me and my doctors..i've used it..it is fine.

For the diaper rash there is NOTHING BETTER than cherry flavored Maalox, sounds strange but try it, incredible, rash gone in a day, use cotton balls to apply to her bottom.
Have you tried Good Start? This is what worked for my son when I had to wean him from my breast. Mild and close to breast milk.
Juice is full of sugar, dont give her juice at all.
Give her distilled water, try Goat Milk, she could be developing an allergy to milk, it happens.

My husband is allergic to soy and also lactose intollerant, and both cause the same problem your daughter is having. Most Cheese does not have lactose, nor does butter. Try those for calcium and stick to other liquids.

Don't let it bother you that your baby is not like all the other babies who drink milk. You can rest assured this is just the beginning of her independent assertions!

The DR thinks she might have an allergy to milk products or maybe some for of lactose intolerance. I would have done the same thing the DR is telling you to do. Good luck!

i totally agree with your doctor.. take her off all milk.. all of my kids had this problem upon going to milk around a year old. So , we really didnt drink it. there are other ways to get calcium in your body. They could handle cheese and yogurt but not milk. once they were closer to 2 `/2, 3 yrs old, they were able to handle it, i just think their systems needed more time to "mature". dont let the kid suffer just to get milk in her...

take her off milk for two weeks. There are other ways for her to recieve calcium.
Also more solid foods. I know my little ones have more trouble going when they dont eat as many fruits and veggies. Ask your doc.

Follow your doctors suggestion. She is probably allergic to some sort of food or ingredient. Try the BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. That's what doctors usually recommend for diarrhea and also try pedialite.

Follow your doctor's instructions. He is trying to determine if the problem has to do with milk or if it might be something else.
