It might be this time of the year. When the days get shorter, I get so tired, sleepy, heck, I even sleep at lunch time!!! Even if I drink caffeine pills, redbulls and stuff like that, I get all weak. Welcome to the club!!!

It is quite normal for a pregnant female to feel fatigue or sleepy. Pregnant females should get at least 10 hours of sleep instead of 8. The baby is using a lot of the mother's energy which causes fatigue. During the rest of the pregnancy, your girlfriend will become sleepier than before. She may want to take a nap during the afternoon.

Not to me, but I know a few people that has similar symptoms, I hope I'm wrong, but it could be chronic fatigue syndrome, that women usually suffer after 30.

But be careful, because symptoms are very confusing.

Make sure you get the proper diagnose in order to get the right treatment and avoid adverse medication.

It may be only that you are too stressed, you didn't mention if you have some kind of problems (money, kids, husbands, etc.) and sometimes they cause these symptoms as well.

It could be a thyroid problem, depression, or stress. Have your DR do a blood work up on you.
