voices?

i don't understand since you don't appear to be a skitz.

i think you're just stressed and need to take a few more time outs than you are forcing upon yourself.

school is part of your life now, focus on that don't try to partician yourself too thinly.

you need activities, things to do, get out a bit, sweep those cobwebs of duty and redundancy out of your head.

take some walks.. and some time for yourself!

you need yoga and meditation.. (earlier the better...) you'll meet folks and learn to relax then help yourself in a healthy way to lead a richer, fuller life without all this confusion and worry.

plus you'll sleep.

you need to get a milk shake, some popcorn and watch the flix soon.. break out of the shell once in a while.

or you'll fruitcake out!

Go to your therapist and tell him/her about the voices and ask for help with your parents not allowing you to go out and have fun. Your therapist may agree to intervene on your behalf to encourage your parents to allow you to go out and do the things other 16-year olds do. Your therapist will most likely treat you with some medication and additional counselling therapy that will stop you from hearing voices. Good luck with this.

You need to get out more, make some friends. Talk to your parents about how youre feeling.

You should be on meds if youre hearing voices. Tell your therapist you want to try something a.. med....if you arnt already on one.

home schooled children have a sort of release...there are groups for kids that are home schooled...generally..
i had a few friends that were home schooled and they said that all the home schooled children in that area were able to network together....recommend the idea to your parents, or look it up online to find those near you who are homeschooled in order to have some sort of common life-situations!

you can even just be a penpal...
as for the "voices" that sounds like schizotypal/schizophrenia....

if the "voices" are immoral, it may be Antisocial Personality Disorder coupled with one of the above.

as far as convincing your parents...
If there's anything I can convince anyone in this world, it's that you cannot convince anyone of anything.

ie-pretend you find out you are wrong...you still will hold very tightly to that idea that is not right to begin with!
Who's anyone to convince anyone else they are wrong??

Make this issue about you, be about your parents (minus the blame..don't blame them...put the situation in positive light if your outcome happens!...show them "if you let me do this...you won't have to drive me around so much, and I'll be more of a pleasing person to be around"

vs.
"You don't love me enough so I'm bored in this house.

again...which sounds better to you if you were your mom/dad??

and while you are at it, read Dale Carnegie's stuff..
he's very helpful at communication issues...hearing voices, or not!

Good luck!

Make it clear to your parents that their schooling routine is too much for you!! I can give you some academic sites that will help you, and will if you ask.
The main thing that you need to do is ask your therapist to help you negotiate with your parents to have some time for yourself, to enjoy being young.
I sense the looming presense of heavy religion.

If you are hearing voices, you need to make sure that your parents and your therapist know this.

Yes, it is bad. You have to be upfront and honest with your parents and therapist. Too, see a psychiatrist for proper medicines.
