Give him a "cutesy" name like Mr. Binky. When someone is threatening you and you call for him, they will be out of breath from laughing and unable to run away once they get a look at him charging up.

Rocky is always cool for a big tough dog that overcame rough circumstances. Of course, you would want your female to be named Adrian. :-)
My trains dogs and he says that dogs should have one-syllable names, like Bud or Mack or Jack. Something they can learn easily and that stands out. Just a note. By the way, he also has a dog named Sally. LoL

I am so sorry for the losses of your dogs, I know how it feels to loose a companion. What about naming you Rottie: Ace, Pepsi, Dice, Dino, Carter, Bongo, Titan, Ralph, Marmaduke, Dude, Colonel, Barney, AJ, Disco, Josh, Bowser, Mario, D.K, or try googling "Male dog Names" I did that once, and had alot of results

Sad to hear about your dogs. Keep a close eye on your new pups, I like the name JAKE for a Rottweiler.

I am very sorry that your dogs were poisoned. That is very sad.
I would name my rottweiler dog Bruno, Brutus, Crabby, Bear, Estuardo, Stuart, Edgar, Visceral, Bull, Clown, Cleo, Dominic, Deviel, etc.
I know these are really wierd names...But you gotta name it something different and unique.

I have a dog called Brock, He was a big pup so I didn't want to call him anything stupid like tiny. I think his name represents him well as a big solid dog.
