That happened to me before and when I didn't leave it hurt me worse because I couldn't trust him and we would fight constantly. It doesn't mean you are stupid, it means you will learn from your mistakes.

If my boyfriend cheated on me considering that we have been together for 8 1/2 years I would not leave him. Because for one I love him. Love is way more stronger than any mistake that you ever make. To me love can help concur and help you over come any problem in a relationship that you have. But no, you are not stupid at all. It is very obvious that you love this person and you care about this person. So to me you done the right thing. Cheating is one of those things that you will never forget about, but you can move on from it. Just don't beat yourself up about the situation, just try to move on from it. Also, don't let anyone tell you that you are stupid. Because you are not stupid, that's just love not stupidity. GOOD LUCK!!!

Do you love him? If the answer is yes, then would you cheat on him? The answer is probably no, therefore if he really loved you he wouldn't have cheated on you. So yes you should leave him, you just don't cheat on someone that you care about plus you will never be able to trust him again and will always question him.

I stayed with a cheater once, but it didnt work out. All the little problems that you had before will seem even bigger after the cheating and i couldnt get my trust back in him

you have to do what your heart tells you to do .
to answer your question as to if my guy ever cheated on me would i leave ....
YES , i would , because trust is one of the biggest parts of a relationship , i dont think id beable to forget , or forgive .
but thats just me .
i have know a couple of people that worked thru a situation like this ,, i dont think i could personaly , but everybodys different .

depends on how severe the cheat was and depends on how big a heart you have for him.
but give him a warning before taking drastic action

well if he has cheated or still is then leave him because if someone cheated before then they will do it again.

You look silly by doing that.
Give him room, if he cheats on and on walk away afterall he is not your husband and you have no right to control him!!
