Would you think he was using you, or that he might like you? We just got back from a 14 hour road trip to Ca... Thats 14 hours ONE WAY, and the entire time I am feeling like he is being really distant. We chatted some but he is normally pretty quiet anyway.. He knows I had feelings for him but this trip kinda opened my eyes to the possibility that he might actually just be using my feelings for him to get what he wants friendship wise.. NOT SEX WISE.. for those of you who might think that. Do you think he is a legit friend? Or should I just move on?

If you were willing to do that for him and he showed no appreciation or that he cared for you I am afraid you need to move on.
If he truly had feelings for you.....in 14 hours one way....you would know it. he would be anything but distant regardless of how quite he normally is.
I am normally a very quite a shy person but if a woman that I really liked were to do this for me she would come away with no doubt about how I felt.
Unless he does a complete turnaround never do this again for him.

Look this guy is a "player". All he cares for you about is to get things and someone to do for him because he could not do it himself. In older times he would be called a "carpetbagger", another word for "manipulator". Get my drift, this guy is a user. Look you do not need friends like this. End your so called friendship or whatever you call it and chalk up the 14 hour trip as an "experience" in life that you will never repeat. Really walk away from this guy and find better people to associate yourself with and then you will be fine.

Maybe he is not using you, but doesn't think of you the way you do of him. He might just see you as a friend and nothing else. Tell him how you feel and find out. I know friendships get bent out of shape when each friend express their true feeling with the other, but hey you only get one shot at it ! If you think there isn't a least bit of a chance with him, then think about it a bit. Would you like to keep him as a friend ? And if not and you think he's using you, then ask the How do you feel about me question.

Maybe try driving to pick up your laundry and a friend from work or something first to see their car temperament. Because me, well after about hour 2, I wouldn't care if you were a user or not, we're here for the ride so you better keep up on your Good Car Company Manners and talk, joke, ramble a bit, something. Silence can be golden , but heck we all know it can be offensive too.

i cant say for sure but i mean if u have that feeling and have to ask, then u r probaly right.. that is a long trip! i hope he deserves that kinda favor, dont ever let anyone walk on u or use u.. would he do it for u if he could?

Of course he is using you for the ride, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't like you, also. Is he always asking for favors? Does he ever reciprocate? Hang around for awhile if you like him...but keep your eyes open and stay on guard.
