1. Gather supplies: an anti-static rag or other soft cloth (scraps of old cotton clothing are good for this purpose), as well as an electrical appliance cleaner (such as Endust for Electronics), eyeglass cleaner, or fluid specially made for cleaning monitors. (Image 1)
2. Check your owner's manual for specific instructions.
3. Turn off the monitor.
4. If using an aerosol product, follow the instructions on the can. Otherwise, spray a small amount of fluid onto the rag. Don't spray fluids anywhere near the ventilation holes on the monitor. (Image 2)
5. Wipe the entire screen. (Image 3)
6. Wipe the screen dry immediately with a dry portion of the rag or with a second rag. (Image 4)
7. Repeat if necessary.
8. Clean the monitor frame with the same product or with another product suitable for cleaning plastic.

Not many people know this, but "Dettol" or "Savlon" antiseptic is very good for cleaning not only the monitor but also the other peripherals, including the keyboard, modem etc. Take a little of the antiseptic solution on a piece of rag or cotton wool, and wipe the surfaces to get rid of the grime. Then polish with a soft cloth.

if you are talking about outer cleaning the aparatus you may use the glass cleaner, pour little glass cleaner on a clean cloth then wipe the screen of the monitor....
if you are aslking about the system fron within then go to your start button, go to all programs, then accessories then system tools then disk cleanup...
you may choose a third option by clicking on MY Computer icon on the desktop.. then click on the desktop icon, then you can easily remove the required programs by simply deleting their shortcuts from the menu..
or you can simply delete them on the desktop without choosing any of the above options... they will not damage your computer as the icons of the programs displayed on the desktop are the shortcuts to start the program easily....
