I think that you should tell your girlfriend right in front of her so called friend. Do this and it will catch the friend off guard. She might still try and lie, so I think that you can also let your girlfriend see your Yahoo question and the answers you receive. That way she can see, that this was not something that you just pulled out of your hat. Maybe now your girlfriend will get rid of her loser friend. I think that the friend is just jealous. She sees that her friend is in a good relationship, and instead of being happy, she is jealous. Take my advice and tell your girlfriend. If not it will only get worse. I got a feeling that this is just one of many schemes that b*tch of a friend has up her slimy sleeves. Tell your girlfriend that way, the two of you can move on to a much more positive relationship without the jealous b*tch!

Hi Bernard! I know you are getting the answers saying that tell her the truth............and I know whats the fear behind it.
Here is one trick if you could do. Get a mobile phone which can record a long conversation or a dictophone (pirce should not be a constraint to u at this time, or u can borrow it of someone) and talk to ur gf's best friend about it and provoke her to threaten u clearly....verbally and record all the chat ..................
Well mate if u have done that .................u r out of this complex situation............its up to u now how u use it.
Best of Luck.
Another way is to make her to read this Question on her computer.

The truth is always best. Talk to your gf and clearly, calmly concisely explain the situation. Tell her you are being up-front & honest because you love her & don't want to loose her. If she has been friends with this girl for that long, she may already know the kind of deceitful person she is.
-or-
If you think it will work, after you have explained everything to your gf, the BOTH of you should pay a visit to this girl and ask her to explain herself.

Tell her the truth. Communication and trust are a must for relationships. If she doesn't believe you, then she doesn't trust you. Yes, its gonna put her and you in a tight spot because that's been her friend for a long time, but your gf needs to know the truth. You also need to tell her that you have nothing against her friend and there is no reason for you to lie about it, that she is your friend and I don't want to ruin your guys friendship, but I need to tell you the truth. Good luck!

Can i tell you? Dont give her the satisfaction of sleeping with her. Tell your girlfriend about it before she does and hope that she trust you enough. I hope you've never cheated on her because that would make it hard for her. Remember whatever you do do not sleep with her friend because if you do and it is good she will be back and it will continue until you breakup with your girlfriend. Be smart about it talk with your girl and tell her to ask her friend about it in a way that she wont know you told her. eg. tell her to say Sara would you sleep with Jamie? am just asking out of curiosity.

If you've been together 3 years, what makes you think she won't believe you unless you've done something to have her mistrust you in the past? This other girl is typical of the type who wants what her best friend has. It's time she was exposed. Tell your girl what's going on.

You should tell your girlfriend what her best friend said. Your girlfriend is gonna get hurt by something:
- She will get hurt if you sleep with her best friend.
- She will get hurt if you don't sleep with her best friend, but she still goes and tells your girlfriend that you did.
- She will get hurt if you tell her that her best friend threatened you with the choice.
There's no way to win here. But your risk will be less if you warn her what her best friend said. And if your girlfriend really loves you, she will at least do some investigation instead of just calling it off with you. And if she doesn't really love you, why trouble yourself with the burden of acting like something between the two of you actually exists?
Good luck, man.

Is there a way you can catch the best friend by having her put it in a text or over the phone....Blackmail her a$$ back...Whatever you do don't sleep with that nasty girl....if she has to blackmail you to sleep with her...who knows where she's been....Is there anyway you can ignore her...don't be nice to her...ignore and avoid her at all cost. If the $h!t hits the fan your girl could stop talking to both of you'll....

Tell your girlfriend fast!! Don't wait cause that will look bad. Always tell the truth and if she doesn't believe you then you may not have had the best relationship to begin with. Trust in her to know the truth when she hears it! And tell her that you trust her and know that she would want to know, etc.
Good luck!
