Probably, many Chilean, Cubans, and Argentines are blond, trust me I've dated them all....and I'm Mexican. Also, when I visited New York, all the horse carriage drivers were gorgeous, blonde, Brazilian guys. And yeah, they can get loud, get drunk, and party just like Mexicans.....but there's a double standard if you're tall, blonde and blue eyed. A blue-eyed guy from Chile was dying to marry my Mexican-American friend....you guessed it for the green card. Although I'm all for immigration reform,...I know that here in the America, immigration issues have always been about race.

Your experiences are very different than mine. I went to Rio de Janiero with a Brazilian friend of mine. They would not let him come back to the United States even though he had a valid visa. That has been over two years ago and he still cannot return. The US has denied every single visa application from every Brazilian friend I have in the past five years.

From what I saw in the news ,the people that caused 9/11 were not blond and blue eyed. They were of tan complexion with dark hair and eyes.what you call profiling may be just that .But if you are on the look out for people with that look then why not stop them? It makes sense to me.My husband is Cajun French and he also fits the profile and is stopped at almost every airport he is in no matter what country its in.. Hes an American citizen and he doesn't mind being pulled from the line if it keeps this country safer.Or the authorities think it does.hes even missed connections because of this profiling. But although hes upset that he missed his flight ,hes still not mad at the country that caused it.

Political Correctness Paralysis has brought America to its knees. The decline in this country is due to the above and the growth of multiculturalism, the bane of modern democracy. We did it to ourselves. It will soon be over.

I'm an American and I get searched at airports just like *you* do. Don't start making judgements based on what you percieve as a "skin color" issue. Its not.

it's not racial. If you were illegal, you would not be searched too.
A big part of being illegal is knowing how to avoid searches and authorities in general. If they got searched, they'd be deported.

Yeah, that's it! One would think that the inconvenience you suffered was not for you protection. But, I guess that you don't need protecting. Why, are you so inconvenienced? What are you hiding?

I don't know I haven't had the problem.
I have to worry about strange men, clowns, pick pockets, flashers who think their sexy, plain and out perverts, thieves, murders and dangerous druggies, grabbers or people who seem to want to invade your space, drunks and every other nut. I'll trade you.

From one who knows several Argentines, multiple Brazilians, two Chileans and several Cubans, none of whom are blond and blue eyed, it might be because they tend to obey the laws, don't drink themselves silly and don't smuggle in drugs.
NOTE for DORKS who don't want to live here legally. Stay the hell out.
