If you can see your hallway walls from your LVRM do they need to be painted the same color as your LVRM walls. Im going to use a creamy colored paint for the LVRM and add splashes of rose, browns, greys around the room so should I stick with the creamy colored paint in the hallway or is there another color that would look better with light brown carpet? Im sorry for asking so many questions I m just really confused and the help Im getting from you all is really helping! Thanks again!

Use one of the accent colors from your living room on the hallway wall. That way it helps define the hallway from the living room and they coordinate.

We rented a house that the previous renters had painted the hall way a different color than the LVRM. It looked disconnected, but they were dramatically different colors. The living room was golden & the hall was white. When we repainted we did the LVRM & hall all one color and it looked SO much better!! If you follow thru with the cream color the LVRM & hall will flow togetgher even with the splashes of other colors.

Using the same color of paint (& carpet/tile) throughout a home/building,etc always makes it appear large. If you were just simply swell bent, you should stick to a tone very close to the color you are using & will blend correctly.
