Mine are in the 10th and 12th grade. They have been educated at home for their entire lives. I also have two graduates.

The kudos should go to my students! They are the one's that do most of the work. I'm just *here*. I supervise and encourage them and also hold them accountable. It is their diligence and focus on their own studies that makes home-school a success.

We haven't always determined "grade level". It was only this year that we decided that my daughter is in "12th" and that my son is "10th".
The thing that matters the most is that you are learning at whatever is you ability level.

Interesting question - We homeschool our 9 year old and I always say that she is grade 4, but really I don't know exactly her grade level as she progresses at her own pace. She has never attended a Public School.
In Math she is probably at her grade level, in Reading she is also at about grade level, In History and Geography I would say she is a couple of years ahead.
In "Life Experiences" I would say she is miles ahead of her peers as we travel quite a bit (England & Norway this Spring for a month), we volunteer with Seniors and deliver Meals-on-Wheels weekly in our community.

I taught my daughter from Pre-K to 7th, when she decided she wanted to go to school. She is currently a Sophomore.
I also homeschool my three stepsons, grades 3, 6, and 8. But as you know, that's pretty subjective. All of my kids are above grade level in every subject. :)

Mine are in 5th and 8th grade. My 8th grader has been homeschooled since 1st grade and my youngest since kindergarten. I am a little nervous about homeschooling a high schooler but after much prayer and thought we know this is the right thing to do.
Congratulations on oyu accomplishments!

I'm 14,and have been home schooled all my life, and will be until I graduate, but I don't really know what grade I'm at.I was behind in math,so I am currently working hard to catch up,and when ever people ask me what grade I'm at,I just look at my mom, because she kinda knows.

My children are an 8yo dd who has been home educated always and my 12 yo ds, who we pulled after his third grade year. We do not keep grades nor have we ever taken a standardized test so really, I have know clue. :-) We say, "4th and 7th" but that is solely based on their ages.

My 11yo son was un-enrolled from public school halfway through 2nd grade (he'd now be in 6th). My 6yo has never been to public school (except as a baby and toddler to drop off and pick up his big brother). He'd be in 1st this year.

you may have a valid social take care of practices card from the U. S. with the point to get a drivers licence in any US state, plus start up certificates and distinctive form of identity that California could require
