read positive thinking books...an excellent one is zest for life by dawn breslin, lots of advice on how to get rid of negative thoughts...write down all your good points, believe me you have loads, then when ever anyone compliments you write it down.stop that little voice that keeps telling you all these negative things, and instead tell yourself only positive things.believe me it works as i have studied this closely and the more you work at it the more you start to believe. it takes time but don`t give in to that little voice.you are a good, strong healthy person who can conquer this.good luck.

We all have negative thoughts and it can be overwhelming sometimes.

The best way I believe is to get very occupied like doing a sport (which release happy chemical in the brain and make up feel happier) or having an hobby.

Meditation can be a very good way as well and you can go there through yoga.

also, if you have a DVD why not watching a comedy which make you laugh?

I hope its help.

Depends what is negative about the thoughts you are having. I think seeing the innocence and enjoyment in children's faces when they are encouraged and loved steers me away from negative thinking.

Or you could just try thinking of little lambs skipping in the field and little fluffy bunny-wunnies or something like that.

I'm not very good at avoiding negative thoughts.
I find that if I let myself think them, and try and work out why I'm having them, I can work on changing how I feel.

keep yourself busy and try to avoid things that give you the negative thoughts. fill your mind with thoughts that make you feel good. when you wake up in the morning wake up with a smile. think happy thoughts all the time and always stay busy

Imagine the people in war torn countries who are being bombed at this very minute, or poeple who are burying their loved ones, or people who are being tortured etc.etc. There is so much to be grateful for, the fact that you woke up this morning, are free, have computer access, food, shelter etc.etc. Don't forget the minor details.

Now that is a good question. I am not very good at it but what I try and do is find somebody to talk to or I out a christian CD on and that normally helps. Good Luck my thoughts are with you.

I don't know....I need the answer to that one myself. haha
Actually, watching comedy shows helps me....hanging out with small children and watching how happy they are.....look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are wonderful, and don't hang out with anyone that is negative....that is a biggy. Read books that are positive.....hang out with positive people....surround yourself with things that make you smile.....flowers, family, favorite color, etc.....whatever makes you happy.....surround yourself with it. And if all else fails, listen to positive music all day!! Read the bible too....pray for positive thinking. Make it a habit.
