Hi everyone. I'm a college student and i was going to go to a step areobics class this evening, but i was wondering, will it help me lose a little weight at all or is it just to firm your butt/legs.? My lower body is already pretty toned because i'm a dancer. Thanks for the help!

Yes it will help you lose weight. It's an excellent cardio workout because of the hi-lo intensity. I don't think you'll "over tone" your bottom half.

Step Aerobics is great cardio exercise. And if you get bored of just regular step aerobics. Try Xtreme Step. A lot more fun choreography and intensity with a hip hop flair.

Yes it'll help you lose weight. Any aerobic activity will help you lose weight as well as tone

not sure about toning but it is great cardio and when you work your cardio you lose weight
