But most of you Christians "REALLY" disgust us. We are not lap dogs of Satan, and its NOT the devil controlling us. We are only trying to FREE your minds from religious control. I know you will hate us for this. But in the long run, you or maybe your children will actually thank us. peace

Well, Christian-bashing is an improvement over Christ-bashing at least. Still, I don't understand the need that atheists have to proselytize others into their religion. Yes, I said religion. You have faith that their is no God, unlike the agnostics. Many atheists feel they have proven the negative. We see them here daily speaking ill of us foolish Christians. Please direct me to the Christian who called you a lapdog of Satan and I will rebuke him/her for their own sake.

Many atheists on this forum (note I do not lump the whole group together and damn them all by sections) are so intent on converting others, they could be such an asset to the Christ's church if only they were not quite so self-absorbed.

I will pray for you. Perhaps, as you say, it won't help. But, how could it hurt? How are you being harmed. Religion and spirituality has brought you a world that values fair play, concern for the needy, hospitality, and communal effort. These values did not come from evolution. A social conscience and willingness to sacrifice does not improve the chances of an individual's survival.

From where do your moral absolutes spring? I say they spring from the religious values that helped to establish civilization to begin with. Furthermore, I believe those values came from God, but we can talk more about that later. Right now, I'm wondering why you choose to believe in freedom, and what does freedom mean to you? How about peace, altruism, giving, stealing, survival of the fittest, etc.? How do you determine moral correctness? It is obvious that you do. Are your morals to be inflicted on everyone? Why not be tolerant of war, hate, greed, etc. I can answer that question for myself. How do you answer that question for yourself?

Please consider sharing more of your reasoning and less of your opinions. Then a dialogue might begin. Just a thought.

But all of you atheist we love as Christ Loves us, We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
And you are being controlled by Satan, his greatest weapon is people who dont even think he exists.

It's early in the day and the name calling has already begun. You are not persuading anyone, if that is your intent. You start with the word "apologize" and speak of Christians with "disgust" in the third person. I call that schizophrenic hypocrisy. I am as free as you to believe as I wish. I am not controlled by religion. I do not hate you so quit assuming.

I APOLOGIZE for anything my Christian brothers and sisters have said to you, that wasn't spoken in Kindness and Love. I also Apologize for myself and others for REALLY disgusting you and yours. No one expects you to apologize. You are what you are. A tree is known by the fruit it bears. You're obviously bearing fruits of Satan. It's your mind that shackled with the bondages of sin, not mines. I mean, really, Who are you to care what I believe? Why does it hurt you so much....Why are you so disgusted by something if it's not hurting you? I'm not writing in this form to change you. It will only take the power of the Holy Spirit to do that.
