That is a great idea...no camp songs please, just the fire and carnal desire.

No, I don't believe in segregation. I'm a Christian and willing to get along with all people, no matter their belief. I just don't want to participate in any arguments about what faith, belief, or religion is best. I started not to even answer this since you've already starting throwing out names like "Jesus camp fanatics". Do you feel every person that believes in Jesus is a fanatic? Should we who believe in Jesus do as you do and name your "Atheist/Agnostic Camp"? No, I don't believe you would like me to think of a name for your "camp" and I know God would not want me or any of us to do that. Is an atheist fanatic about his/her belief as you claim believers in Jesus are?
For me, I'll just stick with answering questions in R & S, the ones asking a question that I know the answer, or I feel compelled to answer, plus other areas of YA.

I don't like to put down any religion, but fanatics and supporters of major religions can make it hard for other religions to be accepted. Not to counteract Jesus campers, but more specifically to counteract the negative effect that people being unaware of the size of other religions can have, I think it's especially important for the followers of "smaller" religions to be very "out there."

There is one already....kind of. Here in Texas we have CSR (Circle Star Retreat) It's a Pagan campground that's open most of the year and my community center holds campouts and rituals there. It's open to whomever as long as you respect the land. I have a permanent camping spot as do most of my friends. We also have CMA (Council of Magical Arts) that owns several hundred acres in central Texas and hold/host large events throughout the year. There's always a variety of activities and seminars/classes. It's a blast. You haven't camped until you've camped with Pagans.

Atheist and Agnostic should not be associated. Either you don't believe or you do. To be Agnostic is to believe.
Like the old saying goes..."Scratch an Agnostic, find a Christian"

I don't understand why one of the other answerers here considers it "spiritual warfare" for atheists/agnostics to send their kids to a camp which reflects their own values.

Sure but everyone is born more or less an atheist/agnostic:
That hell is a state of mind:
For man is born in evils of all kinds, thus in hell,
for evils are hell; (AR 62)
That damnation is the first state we are born into:
Man's first state, which is one of damnation, is every
one's state by heredity from his parents.(DP 83[2])
Since when is lack of truth a banner ?

Why can't "freethinkers" truly be just that and disengage from spiritual warfare? I thought you didn't believe in the spirit.
