She told me they were real. I acted like they weren't but said ah, ok anyways. It wasn't until a couple days later I remembered her parents gave them to her for a graduation present. Her mother has passed away since then. My gf didn't act too upset but I wonder if she is hurt by my dumb comment. What should I do?

Just tell her you have been feeling bad about what you said about her earings, and that you didn't mean it in a mean way! Ask her if she was upset when you said it and if she was then truly say your sorry and that your forgot her parents gave her them for graduation! That is was a stupid thing to say and you meant nothing by it! Then just tell her how much you care for her and hold her to let her feel how sorry you really are!
Good Luck!

Probably appologize. It was an honest mistake. What else can you do? What's done is done, and I am sure she thought it was really sweet of you to offer to buy real diamond earrings anyways.

You should apologize to her,,and tell her you didnt mean to hurt her feelings. She will accept. But be sincere in telling her you are sorry.

You could say nothing or ask her if your comment offended her then apologize.
