“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?”

Philosophy 1 : Sceince - Every action has equal and opposite reaction - so if northpole exist, south pole should exist. so if a powerful god exist then evil as powerfull as god should exist.
Philosophy 2 : If you are aware of Hinduism, they beleive evil exist and god is a way to fight it out. And they do have a lot of philosophical things said, try to read a few articles from the net.
Philosophy 3 : why should we try to figure out god if we have enough things to do in this pretty life.

people will use the free will argument or the sin argument most times. basically we're free to choose and many people choose sin. I say what about the people who get killed walking to the bus or the kid that get's raped by a family member. Where's their free will in that? Others say that because of the fall of Adam and Eve we are all doomed to be wicked. That whole sins of the father thing. There are a lot more arguments including the mystery arguement (we cant know why God does what God does) and the arguement that the definition is wrong.

in genesis when God made adam and eve he made all things good. but when satan came in the form of a serpent, he ruined all of that because he tempted adam to eat the fruit of the tree of life. Of course God can make satan die and he will. But for now, satan serves for God's purpose. Yeah, he creates evil but God can use an evil incident to make a better person. For example, I had a real problem at 13 when my dad died, (i'm now 19) and I blamed God. I became depressed and hated my life. But now God uses that situation and other bad situations I've been in to help others.

An intelligent or perceptive and eternal energy is at the source of the Cosmos; the Cosmos is everyone and everything that ever existed. The Cosmos is beyond human ability to comprehend, but it makes itself known through the design of natural laws, including karma, which govern the universe. This is the only true and real God, of which we are each an integral part. It is nonjudgmental and nonintervening, but it is an eternally progressive energy, and we evolve and gain wisdom through interaction with its natural laws.
"Evil" is not a thing of itself; it's an absence of something, like darkness is an absence of light. What people refer to as evil is ignorance, or the inability to comprehend that something is harmful to oneself or another person. We exist with the natural laws of the Cosmos, including the law of cause and effect. We gain wisdom through experience, and knowledge is the only thing which resolves "evil".

God's creation unlike God is falable. He created man and man sinned and we now live in a sinful world. God had a plan to save man he came in the flesh as a man to be tempted and overcome sin and to pay the ultimate price for our transgressions which was to be tortured and die for all those who accept this as atonement for there sins.We are not yet perfected We live in faith taht the work God has begun he will finish and it is by this faith taht we say we are saved but the work is not completed while we are still in our sinful flesh. He who endures to the end is saved. We claim salvation according to our faith that when the end comes we will be perfected but we as yet are in our sinful bodies and live in a sinful world.

If god is the ultimate creator of all, then he is the ultimate cause of evil as well. There is no way to escape that no matter how many times you throw around phrases like 'free will' or 'sin'.
You are being challenged to think, not simply believe.

The most valuable gift that God has given us is freedom of choice. Our will is activated by a wide range of possibilities , even evil.

read the bible
Isauah 45:7
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."
See. evil is in this world because God wants it there. He even created it just to make sure it was put here.
