In slow-moving, bumper-to-bumper traffic, I crank up the music and my patience.
I move right along at a snail's pace with everyone else.
About a year ago, I was stuck on the interstate for more than an hour while they cleared a fatal car crash.
No one moved.
So...I cut my engine off and pulled my James Patterson novel out of my backpack.
Reading helped the minutes tick right on by.

It's hard to do much without being distracted from the road and risking an accident.

When I lived and worked in the Toronto, Ontario area, I would often listen to one of the all-news AM stations, mostly to get traffic reports, so I could figure out how long I'd be stuck in this mess.

People watching was always interesting. I'd look around me, trying to figure out what was going on with those around. A little less exciting than people watching in a public place like a mall or beach, but I did what I could.

The radio was my biggest distraction. I'd surf the dial for something good, or listen to a CD. There really wasn't much else I could do.

I put the air on, look in my mirror, slap on some sparkly lip gloss, throw on my shades, roll down my windows and turn up the volume of my radio to jam to some good ol rock as we slowly roll on!

lol....It's like a daily ritual. And when I'm smiling n looking around, I know that if I keep this up, it's gonna be a good day so I might as well forget the traffic and leave my worries behind, hun....How bout you?

EDIT: I checked out your other question and I'm totally stumped...Google it?

Have a nice day!
