Yahoo did away with the "Bookmarks" column; how doI get it back?

Click on the Favorites icon in the tool bar
Or
Press crtl+i (control + letter "eye")
Or
View > Explorer bar > Favorites

On the Yahoo toolbar, click the "pencil" button.
Select Personal Preferences
select "add/edit buttons"

Take it from there.
