Which do you prefer and why?

Heck yeah......I love me some pancakes. How can you go wrong with the tender, moist, beautiful, round, buttery, brown, sweet, delicious taste of pancakes. Waffles are o.k. but they are too crunchy for me.
Pancakes just melt in your mouth! (Ok not quite but work with me!) They are best when the edges get a little crispy. Unlike waffles in which you crunch nearly every bite. I wish I had some right now along with orange juice and a few slices of turkey bacon. I would be in breakfast heaven!

Waffles gets my vote because the butter can run down into the squares and not off the flat surface of the pancake. I also like the texture better and love all the different toppings that you can get on them.

I enjoy both of them very much. However I do like waffles a little better because I do not get to have them as often as I might like. People in my family feel that making waffles is somewhat a bother because you need to make a special batter and you need to have a waffle maker. I hope that this makes sense but I feel that not having something very often make you appreciate them all the more.

To eat, Waffles. Much richer in texture and crisp on the outside, fluffy light on the inside. To make, Pancakes. a whole lot less goes into the effort of making and then cleaning up afterwords.

Pancakes. When waffles get cold, they get hard and too crunchy. Pancakes stay soft and moist through it all.

Depends on if i'm cooking or not, if i am then i will make pancakes, if some one else is then I preffer waffles

Waffles. I do not know, I just like them, not the frozen kind--homemade, they are just so tasty on a cold winter morning with butter and maple syrup, and a nice hot cup of coffee.
