Better than Earth but not as good as the Moon. Mars is far away and has an atmosphere and water. The Moon is much closer and has no atmosphere. It is totally incapable of supporting life, so what harm would a little trash do? Or a lot? Of course it would be way to expensive to send trash there. It costs about a million dollars to send just 100 pounds of stuff to the Moon. The cost is high because a rocket has to be built and used only once. And the first stage of the rocket that sends 100 pounds of stuff to the Moon weighs more than 100 pounds, and it falls into the ocean as trash. So we put more than 100 pounds of trash in the ocean for every 100 pounds of trash we send to the Moon. And spend a million dollars for the privilege!
