Faith requires the leap beyond any evidence, to imagine something and then find evidence. Its the opposite of every other thing you believe in, you normally find evidence for something and then formulate what it is based on other known concepts.
So Creation is faith based, no proof required.
Evolution is a theory based on known and provable facts. But it is still just a theory and we should respect that. Unlike Creation that is being touted as absolute. We should also take that in consideration.

Okay, faith is something you need when there is no proof. Religion is something that needs faith. Evolution is a scientific theory, which undergoes scrutiny and testing constantly, if something one day doesn't add up it could be discarded. Evolution is based on truth, religion is based on faith. Evolution is a theory, it is not followed dogmatically or without question, it was founded on knowledge and not 'faith'. Unlike religion, the followers of evolution, scientists, would change their belief if something otherwise was found. Creationist would not.

Lets see, Evolution has tons of research, fossils, genetic study, and a firm foot in the ground that extends millions of years of slow changes in species. Evolution has a massive amount of proof. What does Creation have? A Bible that has been changed, edited by man? Which one sounds more credible?

"Faith is distinct from hope in that faith is typically general, rather than specific to an aspect, and in contrast to a "false hope" in a fantasy, the object of faith typically transcends what can be proven scientifically and sometimes exceeds what can be objectively defined. Faith can mean believing unconditionally. It can be acceptance of something that one has been told by one who is considered trustworthy. Faith, by its very nature, requires belief outside of known fact. Faith is formed through instinct, intuition, meditation, communing with nature, prayer, or perceived usefulness of a belief system."

Reason without God is no reason at all. Creationism definitely requires more faith. Evolution in terms of things evolving is true. But I won't subscribe to a God-less hypothesis that we evolved from an ape. Scientists can mouth all kinds of crazy ideas, and the drive-by media embraces and publishes these things like they were time-tested fact. You can go ahead a believe you came from and ape but as for me I'd rather believe that an intelligent omniscient being created me.

Creation has no use in Science, what I mean by that is that nothing can be used with any theories of Creation to produce or predict results such as in Biology.

Evolution has use in Science.. Evolution can be used to produce or predict results in Biology.

Evolution does not require faith. Evolution requires education.

Biblical creation requires faith. Evolution requires a brain. Faith isn't necessary with facts.

Well, the law of conservation of matter and energy states that neither matter nor energy can be created nor destroyed, only changed from one state to another (ie; from one form of matter or energy into another, or from energy to matter, or matter to energy). This is something that I have observed and experimented with. Therefore, if matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed, then it must exist infinitely, negating the need to be created.

Another thing I have personally observed is evolution. Anyone who farms and uses pesticides has first-hand experience with evolution. Since evolution can be observed, and since matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed, I would say it's pretty obvious that creation requires more than faith; it requires blind faith and the ability to convincingly lie to oneself. Evolution, on the other hand, needs no faith whatsoever, as it can be observed.

Creationism requires the largest number of a priori assumptions and first principles. Therefore, it requires the most faith.

Evolution has been demonstrated multiple times and can be used to formulate testable hypotheses, which when tested, usually are correct. This takes virtually no faith at all.

Creation requires faith. Evolution requires belief. They both require proof.
I have faith in creation and doubt in evolution. Evolution is NOT fact...only theory. God CREATED everything according to His word.

Faith? Well, each group of people truely beleive THEY are right. So, it may be equal.
Does evolution require faith?
I am not being sarcastic either. I just don't know much about it so I don't know that it requires faith. And if it dose is it considered a belief of religion?
Curious.
