Jewish burial rites require that the body of the deceased be washed. This is performed by a special group, and these groups still exist today. They treat the body with special care and respect, for example, never reaching over the body (always walking around). Men wash men, and women wash women. Then the body is buried as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours but it can be postponed for holidays and the Sabbath.
Maybe the place where the washing occurred could be considered a funeral home of sorts.

During this time period, the world over, the family would have cared for their dead relation.
Specifically, regarding Hebrews, a large libary should have this book or order for you:
"The Jewish People of the First Century", S. Safrai and M. Stern.

I don't think they had funeral homes in the first century. It didn't matter if you were Jewish or not in that respect.

enable's see, your respiration has ceased for somewhat a protracted time, meaning your blood has no longer been circulating...and your techniques is ineffective because of the shortcoming of oxygen. With that, being techniques ineffective, your physique won't be able to deliver stimuli into your techniques to interpret, and that they are no longer able to thinking or sensing any interior sight products. So, collectively with your techniques thoroughly ineffective...you do no longer experience something...you do no longer think of something. Your techniques does not exist anymore.

No, I don't think so. The poor ones were put in mass graves sometimes, and the rich had tombs. Or so I've heard in church.
