Maybe they just have a problem conveying what they're thinking into words - its often easier to have a conversation where you can give really good advice yet when it comes to trying to reiterate it through typing, people struggle.
The other half - well they're just taking the piss and having a laugh answering questions for the sake of points!
Having said that - the same could be said for people that ask questions - some are just brutal!

Why do some people on here decide to ask questions like what you are asking? The half sensible answers are sometimes the one that gives you the look of what other peopl really may think. Some people aren't complex at thinking all the time. it can be the most simple reason of why people do things, and other people have no clue.

Because if is not a half decent or better answer they will be
disqualified and not gain points. I was disqualified on an answer
that asked "why do the young hate the old" I am 69 and
I answered that I do not hate the young and do not feel that
they hate me - and suggested that the asker should think it
over. I reported this to Yahoo since they disqualified my answer
as "i was only point gaining" and, thus far I have not received an
answer. I also asked Yahoo to reconsider because I did not
wish to be included in the ugh, lol, what, yupee single word,
that do not constitute an answer. Also I note that the slang words,
grammar and spelling in many are absurd, and I think this is
ridiculous and also against the rules which I have read carefully.
Therefore, I congratulate you for bringing up the subject which
I fully endorse. In fact, this Yahoo attitude provoked me to the
extent of my completely ending my participation. Your question
has made me return since I saw that others are also worried
about, grammar, language and slang. One last observation, the
asker mentioned the word "hate" which goes against my grain,
since I consider hate only leads to violence and destruction.
Cheers to you - Iain

Why do some people on here struggle to ask even a half sensible question?

It may be that many of the questions asked simply deserve a less than intelligent answer, it may also be that there are those of us with a sense of humour that find it amusing to answer questions posed by people that have a degree of difficulty using grammer or constructing a sentence in the queens English.
I think you have to understand that this type of site is accessed by every level of person and most questions posed are going to become subject to either humour, ridicule and sometime just plain rudeness
Most participants are using this site for entertainment value like myself and therefore are not always going to provide a serious answer, and of course you will always get a high percentage of out of work f#ckwits
Hope this helps and enjoy your day, this certainly helped me get out of 10 minutes work

Because half the questions are no-brainers to begin with! If people would take the time to think some things through rather than ask complete strangers for there opinions then what would we be doing on here?

50% of the questions come from children. Their type set givers them away. An adult is not going to waste his or her time trying to explain things to a child that has neither the inclination, time or day to decipher any importance of the question asked nor the answer delivered.

When I choose a question to answer; It's because I have an answer -- however, sexist, rude, funny, or straightforward and from the heart, that is ends up.
Simple as that --- and if I have "no answer"... then I don't!
Some are just soooo tempting, tho....that I have to "struggle" to resist!!!

Because they are not on here to help anyone. They only want the points and have nothing better to do. I cant stand that ****. If you arent on here to get help or help someone else,,then dont even waste others time with your stupid answers. Its not all about them,,,its about OTHERS!!!! thank you for asking that question. Always wondered the same thing.

Your question tells it all. We don't get any sensible questions which qualify for a sensible answer
