Hmm an allergic reaction is the most likely culprit. I would try benadryl and see if that clears it up. If not make an appointment with a doc. I had my lip swell up on me after I accidently bit into it, but that definently had pain come with it. could be some kind of irritationfrom her teeth as well. It doesnt sound like anything terribly serious though.
Note, allergic reactions can start off mild but get worse with each exposure so going to see a doctor soon is a good idea. If the benadryl works, it is almost definently an allergy.

I have no medical training, just a mom myself. I'd say if this is a reoccuring thing, she may have an allergy, perhaps to food. If you suspect this, I'd make an appointment with a doctor and they can run tests. If this is just a few isolated incidents that have only sprouted up lately, it could be something happening with her skin, like perhaps some fluid build-up, like a pesky blemish. My daughter had this happen before. I used a warm, damp cloth and had her hold it over her upper lip (where her swelling occured) and that helped the problem go away.
Whatever you suspect, it's best to call your doctor. :)

Its an allergy.. My moms did that for awhile and went away. And my sister also does the same thing. They havent competly figured out what food or foods is doing it, but Its only happened a few times to them. At some point my moms got so bad, All she had to do is touch her lips with certain foods and they would swell. I dont know if a dr had tests to see what could cause that, wouldnt hurt to ask them.

you should google "swelling of the labia" and be conscious what you search for comes up with..Dare I say it yet your daughter will be extra ideal off seeing a healthcare professional..i will comprehend that would nicely be embarrassing for her yet this would nicely be severe you only by no skill understand..it really is extra ideal to be danger-free than sorry so I do advise that you're taking a seat and talk with her and enable her keep in mind that you will be there and that she's were given your help and that it really is for her income to flow and get her subject matters down there considered to...i will narrate to her embarrassment so possibly if she does comply with flow see the healthcare professional after the visit you should offer her a cope with or something as i understand those visits go away you feeling like crap..best of success :)

It is most likely an allergic reaction, why wouldn't you take her to see a doctor to find out for sure? However I agree it might also be a cold sore or fever blister.

Cold soar comes to my mind first. My daughter gets them sometimes and they don't hurt or itch either. Just guessing.

Possible allergic reaction? Food allergy? Watch her. If she has trouble breathing or it becomes difficult for her to swallow, take her to the emergency room immediately.
