In fact, they are very much at war -- competing for sunshine, growing space, and nutrients. They just don't compete with bombs and rockets.

They are at war....some of them create molds to destroy others that are in their areas. Weeds are the most obvious example of a plant strangling the life out of another. Some plants like Willow trees will use up the water supply and prevent others from drinking......

In Genesis (The bible) the earth and humans fell into sin......everything became less than it was intended when sin entered into the picture.

Actually, if you were to place different types of trees in the same grove, i bet they would battle to the death. We wouldn't see it, but one day we'd notice that one was dead. The roots of trees would attempt to strangle each other... survival of the fittest applies to trees as well as people. it's the law of nature.

the trees understand they are a part of everything and we forgets that and yes the trees are much wiser for they are near to Allah swt!
