No they are not worth it, they give out the "****" impression that just says sex and not sexy. There is a way to get the same feeling and not leave the marks, now THAT is worth it. (if done right) It is a busted blood vessel in the neck, that just doesn't sound "sexy" to me. Soft and gentle sucking or even biting maybe but don't TRY to leave a mark.

Neck bites, or love bites as they are called, appear because the blood vessels under the skin have been broken. In about 1% of cases, this can cause a blood clot which can move to the brain or to the heart and be fatal. Other than that, they are ugly.

Yuck!!!! what more can I say. Love bites are dirty and you should be ashamed having them on the neck. Girls, makes you out to be cheap and boys, well just looks like your girl is cheap. If going for a wee bite and nip then go where it does not show!!!!

Hickeys are gross.
Make guys look like Players and make girls look like hoochies.
Respect your self and your lover by putting them in places that others can not see, if you really feel the need to leave a mark.
I always thought that marking a partner with a hickey meant that the person was insecure about the relationship and felt the need to let others know that they had "pee'd on the tree" just like a dog does to mark territory.

Personally I think there is nothing more common and disgusting looking than a lovebite.
As for being worth it - no definately not - not only can they hurt if given by someone thats not very good at it - they just look unsightly on both men and women.

Definetly not i think they make women look cheap and tarty, if they are done on a part of the body that can't be seen then fine. I suppose i did get a buzz ot of having a lovebite though it was great i felt really grown up.

I personally have always thought they are are trampy, and you look like a whore, no one wants to know what you did the night before, so no need to have marks all over where the public can see them. It is disgusting.....for both guys and girls. So it's not sexy and not worth it....YUK!!!!!

No way are they worth it!! Especially when i got one and had to listen to my parents ask questions (stupid ones) about it and if that wasn't bad enough then my grandparents came to visit along with my great-granny - imagine how how many question i got!? It felt really sexy getting it (mine was anyway, think she was just talented) but no, they're not worth it. If they're done right, they can be arousing i think

I think there nasty.That just lets every one know that sees your neck bites that your a skank.Not you per say but who ever has them in sight.
