yes they definitely spin it

they minimize it
its allways the same stuff poor Maria only wants to feed her family

sounds like an ad for Save the Children

meanwhile Maria's ten kids (with ten different fathers) have all joined gangs

Maria is a Grandmother by the time she is 35, shes on welfare and food stamps and is in line for every government hand out

if any of us speak up we're racist or hateful

let Katie Couric take all the illegals home with her
she can feed them

I am one for putting the truth without a spin in the press. This holds true for any subject. This will never happen in the USA because the stuff that is written by the press is generally very biased and at times untrue. This is the Way our democracy works. 1st amendment gives the press this freedom. We have to be smart enough not to take any of what we read too seriously . In many cases, the FACTS as they are given are lies and are sold to the public. One of the few people around (although slanted toward the right) is Bill O'reilly of Fox News. I don't like the man but he generally tells it the way it is. I just wish that he wasn't such an ultracrepidarian.

This country is being crippled by the pressure to be "politically correct" all the time about everything and everyone. The media is the main culprit, sensationalizing and publicizing the "plight" of the illegal aliens. As always, the media is always seeking higher ratings, not the truth.

Take a sturdy seem at who owns many of the newspapers and then understand that they are too liberal to care concerning to the precarious positions that human beings are being placed into due those lawless illegals. you will in easy terms get the certainty from people who're no longer based on the funds and means they yield.that is time for a clean sweep of the u . s . to get rid of those risky illegals.they are capitalizing on no enforcement and that is in easy terms going to worsen till we call for attrition by enforcement! to boot as mass deportation and border administration that is allowed to try this is activity!

After living in AZ for over twenty years near a border town, you cannot convince me that we DON"T have a problem. The Republicans unfortunately, are the ones putting the "spin" on keeping them here in order to build up their voter base and keep in the good graces of businesses and corporations.

You guys gotta face IT: Resistence is futile, and I'm no Mecha o La Raza follower, actualy I live comfortably and peacefully in Mexico, and I'd NEVER consider even entertaining the thought of moving to the USA, out of sheer self-respect.

But you must face the fact: RESISTENCE IS FUTILE!! No matter what you do, you'll always have illegal immigrants, as any country which is better off does.

Why don't you quit your whining and accept that what you primarily dislike is that the "aliens" you're getting are not your favorite skin color?? It's ALL about RACE. See my other questions and see how they seem to confirm this racial point.

I agree its a huge problem,in all the media today.I wonder when the rest of the criminal population will be called undocumented criminals.isn't it in reality the same thing?
Or is it only a criminal offense if you aren't Hispanic ?
They do have a large group of lobbyist in Washington working for their cause. Its funded by the Ford Foundation, that funds Marxist groups like LaRaza, that
advocate the take over of the entire southwest,by the legal and illegal Hispanics..Our democracy allows these
radical groups a voice in our countries policy's by allowing them to have lobbyists in Washington.I personally think that is a bastardization of freedom of speech.

If paying more for vegetables will help I would be glad to do just that. But you are forgetting this.without the illegals the farmer/corporation's would have to pay the legal Americans a much higher ,livable wage so in turn the legal worker would be able to pay more for the veggie etc.And without the expense of taking care of all the "bills "this cheap labor brings we would have more money for legal Americans .This so called cheap labor is costing Americans millions if not billions of dollars.and I for one think its just not worth the cost of them being here illegally.

I knew there was a good reason why I would not watch Katie Couric on the news. Thank you for giving me one! Sick of the liberal media, but I don't much care for Fox News either.

News media is a misnomer. More like entertainment wipes, really. As for Katie? She's just doing the job they pay her to do. Doesn't mean she believes what she reports.

Is getting control of the border and immigration important for every nations security? Better believe it. Is performing a witch hunt for illegals and slamming all for the sins of a few going to accomplish overall good? I'm thinking no.

I tried to support Katie Couric when she started doing the news...she obviously isn't tough enough to "tell the truth" ....as she "simpers" into the camera
Let's hold the media accountable to their largest audience...middle-class Americans. Please sign the petition whether you are pro-illegal or anti-illegal - we all deserve the truth in order to make informed decisions!
