I am facing strange problem with my keyboard.
Some keys like [p and n] stops working suddenly. Even the onscreen keyboard of windows does not works with those keys.
Problem is so random that, p and n were not working while I was logging on to yahoo but started working as I started typing this post. :-)
Earlier I was having Win XP Pro with SP2. This problem was there and I got a new keyboard. I also installed Win2k3 Server, Standard Edition. Now after 10 days again problm is rising. The same keys are targeted both times.

Technical details
Earlies OS : Windows XP Professional with SP2
Current OS : Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
Earlier keyboard : Intex
Current keyboard : Microsoft
Processor : Intel Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz
RAM : 760 MB
Antivirus : Mcafee Viruscan Enterprise
System is on a huge LAN and also connected to Internet via proxy servers.

Please ask for any details required.

Seems like you have some hardware problem ,,,,but i would still recommend you reinstall those drivers for keyboard.

number of possible causes for your problems are...

1.It might be possible tht ,you have some problem with tht ps2 socket or USB socket where you have tht keyboard.
make sure they r fixed correctly or not.

2. There cld be possible problem with Keyboard motherboard interface.Get it checked to ur vendor.

3. had you ever loaded malicious program like *Keyloggers* coz they may alter the Kboard driver's.

4. Driver overridings, this may be coz you are using kboard drivers ,if your XP user then why dont you let the windows decide your drivers. Uninstall tht keyboard manufacturer drivers.

in my opinion there's problem with your motherboard keyboard interface. get it corrected.

hope this would help! :)
