Check with your church and your local grocery stores and see if they will let your daughter sit out front and sell candy even a local car-wash might let you do it there is high traffic volume most have cameras for safety and security and most won't mind. What church wouldn't help a local entrepreneur? Door to door selling sucks and is not safe for a lot of reasons. A public place is the way to go. You might even try your local fire and police and Sheriff's departments and see if they would like to buy some.
Putting up a flyer on a pole is not safe. You would have to leave a name and number for people to call. That also tells a pedophile were a little girl lives that will answer a door for a stranger because she is motivated to sell candy. Not a good idea. Do not let your daughter sell candy without an adult you know present.
Good Luck!!

I hate these fundraisers that give out prizes according to how much you sell! The kids with the big families get a lot of prizes and the others don't! It isn't fair to the kids. Ask other parents what they are doing. Try to sell to grandparents, aunts, uncles. Or maybe if it is candy, set up a stand with candy and lemonade. That way you aren't asking people to buy it, but letting them come to you.
Good luck. (I always ended up buying it myself!)

When it comes to taking the sales sheet to work, (if it is allowed)dad should just place it in the break room with a note about what the kids are raising money for.
I found that people would peruse the sheet and buy something, without my having to actually do any selling or bothering of my co-workers. If they don't feel pressured, they will very often buy something simply because their co-workers are signing up.
Good luck.

Friends, Family, Co-Workers. My daughter, in pre-school, had to sell stuff. We took it to our neighbors who we are friends with, family and my husband and I both brought the form to work for a few days each. I'd put mine where it's the most busy, printers, coffee station...etc. Good luck.

It's a tad extreme perhaps but maybe you could sell it on eBay? Having said that, I think the person before me who suggested putting up flyers etc deserves credit for giving a really useful & practical answer. '_'

Perhaps you could take her to a friendly neighborhood that isn't so intolerant to a child trying to sell some candy?
