5hit... I've had some bad dream experiences...

My grandfathers spirit visited me several times in the 6 months prior to his death.... it described to me the exact way in which he would die... which was both nasty and unusual... I told him [he already knew what was going to happen!!!] and my family about this... we were all totally freaked out by this...

It has happened many other times too...

I woke up once at 2am because a mate was in trouble... I just jumped into my car and drove into town... where I found my mate being chased by a gang of youths!!!

Jeez... I have dozens more... often it is all about understanding what you are seeing/hearing.

Yes, spirits do visit us during sleep but usually to communicate good things to us (we are more aware of them when we are relaxed). If you dream of loved ones who have passed, this is because they are actually visiting you to let you know they are not 'dead' in the true sense of the word. Listen to what they have to say in your dreams. If you are having nightmares I would suggest this is your unconscious playing out events in your life. We often have nightmares, or bad dreams, because we are feeling insecure, anxious, afraid or whatever and these bad dreams come to make you aware so that you can do something about it. Without knowing exactly what you are experiencing it is difficult for me to give you an accurate or direct answer. I am a spiritual medium and also a psychologist so have knowledge of both dreams/nightmares and spirits. Hope this helps a bit.

in march i had a strange experience. i was asleep when my baby woke up crying. Her cot was in our room so i soothed her then got back into bed and i felt the covers being pulled really tight around me so i shrugged them loose but they became even tighter so i dived out of bed thinking maybe my boyfriend or other daughter were to blame but they were both fast asleep. I know i was def awake and not dreaming. I told my boyfriend the next day and he was a bit sceptical but a few nights later he dozed off on the sofa and was woken by what he describes as a small hand shaking his tummy. he thought it was our 4 year old but then he saw a child's hand about 10 inches away waving to him then it disappeared.

Both can visit you in your dreams, but really its just your subconsious (sorry about the spelling) Trying to sort out all the things that are going on in your brain weather it be past or present issuses these can also cause nightmaers, night sweating and actually thinking that you are being haunted in some shape or form.

In some eastern religions it is believed that sleep is when your spirit and subconscious communicate with the spirit realm. Probably you were just having lucid dreams but perhaps there is a spiritual dimension.

Shadow dont blame spirits for you're wet dreams.

If spirits where to visit out plane of existance you'd think they would do so when we're actually awake to witness it.

Otherwise whats the point?

Its like asking do Hauntings really exist if theres no one around to witness them?

i am told that it isnt spirit who visit us .. but us who visit spirit
only our body sleeps .. our own spirit has no need for sleep , so is free to travel during this time
we can travel to spirit world to meet with out loved ones who have passed over
quite often though the memory of this visit can get confused with dream ... and we may only remember part of what happened

And my parents, whose room is below mine, say they sometimes hear somone moving around during the night, opening and closing drawers and stuff, even when im away at uni.

A good spirit will visit me from time to time in my dreams. He is my spirit guide and has been with me always.

No spirits in my sleep, but on the day my boyfriend died his spirit lingered while he came to say goodbye. Spirits are in fact real I believe
