When I used to work for an Exams Board, and subsequently as an Exams Officer in a college I heard this pretty regularly. The school should still have hard copies of the records and you can obtain Certificates or Statements by following the links below. However I would wonder what sort of school would not send the results on to you when you didn't collect them? Not one which encouraged you very much I suspect. They may still have your certificates or they may have returned them to the board after three years.

If the school still exists in any form contact the exams officer there in the first place. Otherwise if you know which examination board, you need to contact them directly eg edexcel which was in the old days the University of London examinations and assessment board. Aqa (AEB and NEAB) OCR (OXford, Cambridge) others can be found on the net. Most have a simple form to complete to obtain results.

Hope you manage to track them down.

well, it depends on which kind of results ur talking about. If it is a major exam and you want to know the final result...i am sure they still have it on hand in ur school registrar's office... but if it is only some long minor exams or not really the finals, i think it would be impossible for you to get the results anymore since these may have been deleted by this time..but there's no harm in trying...ask and u shall know.

Most schools would send your results to your last registered address. This was not the case for some reason.

Contact your old school and tell them your name at the time and when you did your exams. If they do not have a record they can tell you the examinations board who set the exams and marked them. They will have a record of your results.

Good luck I hope you got straight As

You could try your old school who should have a record. If they don't then you may have to contact the individual examining boards. Strange they never sent you any certificates though. I am the same age as you and mine were sent to me at home even though I had to pick up my results from school

Your school records will no longer be in the school you went to. What you need to do is go to the local School Board/Ministry and file for a request. It takes them a few days to search for your files, but they will be able to provide you transcript that will be officially stamped by the ministry. Make sure you know the years you went to school and the name of your school, and what transcript you wish to pull of our their library.

You are probably out of luck. Even the Government only requires things to be kept for 3 years now- Maximum 7.
No teacher I know would hang on to things that old. Sorry!

You can try asking, not sure about the way schools in your area function.

Anyway, i'm quite puzzled by the LACK of punctuations in your question - amazing.

Call your local education authority (or the education authority you were under when at school if you've moved.) they should be able to point you in the right direction!

hope you did well :)
