The easiest recipe I know is
500 grams mince meat
1 Onion finely chopped
1 large egg Beaten
2 Tablespoon Tomato Sauce
1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
1 Tablespoon Parsley
Mix well and shape into 6 flat round hamburgers.I normally lightly flour them and place on a tray in the fridge for about an hour or they can be cooked in a fry pan straight away in hot oil...enjoy

I always use a low fat hamburger meat...For me.. I lilke to take about a pound or two of good hamburger meat and mix one package of that onion mix that you buy in a box in with the hamburger meat.. MIX IT VERY WELL.. Then with you hand again, take about a cup of hamburger meat and pat it between your two hands until it is patted like a hamburger patty and making sure that the rounded edges of the patty are smooth then plop it into the medium heated frying pan

If I do not have any of that onion soup mix(dry), I might use several soda crackers, crushed and an egg or two and mix that in the one or ttwo pounds of hamburger meat and then mix it VERY WELL and then make patties from that

normally i buy a 1 lb package of ground round or chuck ....then i divide it into 4 equal portions ...then depending on the size of the bun i use (usually a kaiser roll) i make a Pattie to that size...but first i make a ball and insert a small pat of butter in the center then make patty......either i use a grill or a cast iron skillet or i prepare under the broiler..if grill i cook on one side for about 4 min and then i cook on the other about the same or til it feels firm in the center..at no time do i mash the burger down as i see a lot of people do..it loses it natural juices and the butter make it even moister...i do season with just salt and pepper..i add nothing else if someone wants w/o or garlic and any other condiments i have them available and they can add with there mustard cat sup onions lettuce cheese and so on.....if i cook under broiler turn once about 4 to 5 min and cook until center is firm....

Season it with some spices, like Worcester Sauce and salt and pepper. Blend. Then take about 1/4 lb., or a handful and put it in a sandwich bag and then press to mold the shape. Then put on the grill for five minutes a side, add a slice of cheese, then eat with or without a bun! Wa - la!

I think a hambuger patty is best when you make it your own way. Just add whatever spices you like, bread crumbs and 1 egg. Combine form into balls then flatten into patties. The key is to add spices that you'll enjoy. Your burger your way!

I pack ground beef into a half-cup measure, then dump it onto a plastic sheet, fold it over, press down with a cutting board to flatten it into a circle to fit the bun. I drop it into a hot skllet sprayed with Pam and sear it on both sides, then lower the heat and cook it until there is no pink left.

i don't know if there is really a correct way, but i just form a hamburger ball in my hand and flatten it out with my hands. it should also reach an internal temp of at least 160 degrees.

Well, you take peppermint Patty and place her between 2 buns...

No seriously:

Use an ice cream scoop to make a ball and then I put it between two sheets of wax paper and flatten it with a pan
