A lot of grapes come from So. California. Winters are quite mild there for the most part.

They are grown inside, somewhat like a solarium, just like many other vegetables, however, quite a few if them are imported from other countries. That is why some veggies and fruit tend to be more expensive in winter.

because it's coming into spring in my country , I'm betting your grapes will come from the good old land of oz either from the barossa valley or the hunter region in nsw . enjoy your grapes . good luck .

Other areas where it is warmer. I know that in my state we get alot of produce from Mexico during the winter. It comes into our local stores from there.
