your local registry office should hold that information, as Long as u have the persons details ie; names, date of birth etc;

Hi, there are two websites that you can use.

If the death was between 1837-1983 use: www.ancestry.co.uk, you can search for births, deaths and marriages for free.

If the death was 1837-2004 use: www.findaparentorchild.co.uk.

not really sure where to look if it was after 2004.

Registrar's office if its family. You'll need some info tho, their names etc...

if its famous people you're after, www.imdb.com has details of celebs dates of births, careers, deaths etc.

but if you're really morbid and want to see stars homes, gravestones and even some photos of them dead try www.findadeath.com!
