Yes, I think we are and I agree with you, sadly. Hate stems from fear and fear stems from the lack of knowledge...the unknown... and if people would take the time to discover other cultures maybe future generations wouldn't be infested with such nonsense.

Words can be powerful weapons, and hurt people when used without thought. I'm many cases worse than physical hurt. I have been using this site for about a week now and have seen many things in posts that have shocked me to say the least.
At first it was fun,and i thought interesting to learn about things that until now had not been in my everyday life. However i sometimes wonder at the bitterness and hate i have seen, more so than other chat sites. Having said that Ive not used a religious chat forum before, but i guessed thought it may be good for the spiritual side of me,as I'm not religious.
All i have learnt so far is how bitter and hurtful people can be to each other on here. I realise that anything to do with politics or religion is controversial, and now Ive seen with my own eyes how much so.

There is nothing new under the Sun. What we are getting
ready to experience has happened before. The only difference
is that there are more humans on earth than ever before.
When the worldwide earthquake occurs, and billions of spirits
are realeaed into the spirit world. It will open the doors to other
realities. Including a dark force building up inside the Earth,
called the FEAR, or the PIT.
Born of the negative spiritual energies from thousands of years of wars, violence, and the evil men do. Along with spiritual
forces that create our reality, namely magnetism.
Are you prepared in mind and spirit?

It's difficult to see how such negativity and prejudice as exists at present can be ended, and hatred generates even more hatred. There has to be some earth shattering event that will finally shock humanity into seeing the futility of their prejudices and bring about the realisation that everyone, regardless of race or creed, is a spiritual manifestation of the divine consciousness.

I think it is quite likely that we are. An awful lot of intolerance and hate seem to be leaking out of some of the answers and questions posted here. Makes you wonder how the next generation will deal with each other. And it makes you wonder if the next generation will even get to be....will we end up blowing ourselves up?

Forums such as these allow people to be whomever they want to be. It could be the real them or it could be an act. They are anonymous.
I don't know if everyone is as hateful as they seem to be. This may just be where they relieve frustration.
People say and do thing anonymously that they would NEVER do in public.
At least that is my hope.

I too feel that peace is no longer within the human race.
To answer your question, I have to say, I'm on the fence. On the positive side, we have a strong willpower in what we believe in, but on the other hand, we fail to understand that the opposite side too believe as strong as we do. I say, keep our peace, no matter what, and others will try too.

I do know that not enough people are teaching their children respect for others or just plain morals these days , that breeds
ignorance and fear of the unknown , fear breeds hate !!!

I believe we are. Take Cuba as an example such a beautiful island and the u.s. has had them in a box for almost 50 years. You never make friends by putting them in a box and poking them with a stick until they love you.

The greatest danger arises from the blind belief that the only important thing in life is mindless adherence to whatever particular brand of myth you've been assimilated into.
