i've been on it (for the most part) since i was about 8 or 9 years old and i'm in my twenties now.. so i guess as long as they need it...

Hey, how old is your teen?
I was under the impression that tens are not supposed to be on prozac?
I am 19yrs old and I was put on it when I was 16 and it made me more depressed and suicidal, to the piont that i ended up trying to hang myself.
A good friend of mine who is now 18 was on prozac aswell and she became so violent that she hit her sisters teeth out with a baseball bat and tried to stab her brother.
I was told that it is bad to put teenagers on prozac as it just makes things worse?
