its very simple, though not ALL muslims are terrorists, ALL terrorists are muslims. Whats not to understand here. When pearl harbor happened Americans had the same issues with Japanese people. Islam IS after all a religion that has declared that all non-muslims are infidels and worthy of slaying. How could you NOT be afraid of this. If there were a black man doing serial killings in your area, would you not be more afraid of black men then others? If there were a little old white lady gunning people down in your area, would you not then be nervous around little old white ladies? Its common sense. If muslims are terrorizing the world, I would be pretty stupid not to have some reservations about all of them. Unfair as you may think, its called instinct. Cant be helped.

i personally think this is because with all the terrorism going on in the world people are looking for someone to blame. With suicide bombers claiming to kill people in the name of a religion, muslims are all being labelled as terrorists and so there are alot of anti-islam posts. These people are ignorant and just want people a group to blame. For people who think im saying this because im islamic or anything like that i believe im relatively unbiased as im an atheist and burmese. I believe that peoples beliefs are there own and i dnt feel religion should be forced on or slandered by anyone, they dont have a right to

Mass mania, whipped by the media. Over a period of time we have forgotten our individual thinking and we are "mass thinking " now.Though not exactly a parallel, we know the beautiful creatures of God , the snakes. Out of the 2000 and odd types of snakes only a very few are supposed to be venemous. Yet , we fear ALL snakes. What if the snake that we encounter HAPPENS to be a venemous snake? Happens to be ... that is the key word. So , fear all snakes. . Even that is not bad ,so long as one does not start attacking ALL the snakes that they encounter.

See people as people. All of us were born without any religion but were assigned one . May be it is high time we change our names so that others cannot cluster us in one group or the other.

I'm stunned by your childish sensitivity! It's the internet for F**k sake! Deal with it! People are allowed to vent their spleens if they want to. And a lot of the negative comments about Islam and other religions are to some extent, valid opinions, so who are you to play moral crusader? If you haven't noticed, the vast majority of terrorist attacks these days are being carried out by people who state very clearly and for the record that they do it in the name of Islam, and apart from that, it's a primitive, oppressive, religion whose ignorant practitioners believe it's okay to slice off peoples body parts when they commit an offence, or to stone a couple to death for committing the mortal sin of making love to each other. If you actually lived in one of those places like Afghanistan or Yemen etc. You might wanna STFU!! Being on the receiving end of the enlightenment of Islam, eh?

I can't say I'm stunned about anything I see posted on this site. I think I've seen and heard it all. I've been offended by many things, but I just ignore the question and move on. Christian bashing, Muslim bashing, racial bashing, it's all here. I guess people just want to "vent" their anger and bias against others.

It's stereotyping run wild. A few bad Islamic eggs (think Taliban and Al Qaeda) have ruined it for everybody. It's really quite sad.... (I'm an atheist)

I am a Christian, and I am not shocked by people attacking spirituality. The unfortunate truth is that the western world is becomming more and more discriminatory of religion as we become more liberated. What was once freedom of religion has now interfered with people's sense of personal space, and so it is popular to bash others beliefs in the name of science, politics, atheism, and indifference.

For those people to claim to be Christians but continue to be hateful towards other religions, they are mocking Jesus and what he taught. For those who claim no religion, they are lost and cynical, without any perspective or truth to live by, and so we must be patient and tolerant of their ignorance.

The world grows more evil each day, and the hate towards those who are different becomes much easier than to try to understand other perspectives. We are loosing intelligence and conforming to a desensitized culture of paganism.

People become anti-religious because they are uncultured and uneducated. Those who would belittle others because of things like race, religion, gender....need to experience more of the world, visit other non-western countries, in order to understand different perspectives.

I will always stand by Christianity, but will pray for others to find the joy that I have found in my faith in Jesus. We must love all people regardless of our differences.

I'd say it's American government propaganda. You know, Fox News etc. They saw it on TV so they believe it. Majority of Americans are quite easy to control. Green Day had a hit about it "American Idiot". Well it's the truth, the way it is, it's not my fault.
