I have been and been dissapointed. As a seidhwoman, or mystic myself, all the fortune tellings I have encountered are more involved with cold-reading than actual psychism.
However, I have met individuals who told me amazingly accurate and personal things about myself. At these times I knew I was in the presence of a true psychic.

I am a bit of a medium myself and I have guides and I read Tarot Cards. But When I went to a Misa (spiritual Mass) I was told My sister will have some problems bringing a child into this world. I called her the next day and she said she was trying to keep it a secret and only her and her husband knew she was having problems. And No I knew to.
He told me I hated my living space and wanted something bigger, something I never told him nor di he know I lived in a mll one bedroom apt. He told me what me and my BF fight about and why, something he knew nothing about since I never told him.
He was great, I am learning so much from him.

there was going to be something good to happen to me sometime
and maybe something bad happen
they kept it vague, told me to trust my own self
but I did find a palm reader who was a strange blend of all religions who could assess which one you leaned toward and told you what you wanted to hear
a tarrot card reader (mind you, you are the one to pick your own cards) read them well and helped me understand back in 2003 what the death card meant
and later in 2006 my spouse and I both drew the same Tower card and sure enough there was huge upheaval (now) but we didn't understand then

Not one single thing. I showed them a pic of my cousin and he indicated it was a "relationship" and then named like 25 diff girl's names not one of which I have any dealings with. I was sruprised since I have mostly female friends, not one name had any meaning and 5 years later still doesn't.
