No, it's a Hindu belief that it sits on an elephant that stands on a turtle.

There is a wonderful story about a little old lady who told Stephen Hawking or some other scientist that his cosmology was all wrong, and it was actually this elephant-and-turtle thing. The scientist said "But that can't be right. What would the turtle stand on?" The old lady said "Oh, you think you're very clever, young man, but you aren't. It's turtles all the way down".

John, it doesn't say that anywhere in the Bible.

I invite you to read the Bible for yourself. I think you will find it to be the very Best Answer to life.

The first Bible I read from cover-to-cover was The Daily Walk Bible. It was designed to guide the reader through the Bible in one year but I found it to be so good that I finished it in 90 days!

I've been reading The Daily Walk or other Bibles since 1992. This year I'm really enjoying The Daily Bible in Chronological Order. I keep learning and enjoying.
