Yes, indeed. In fact, with it's vision of being a regional services, technology & transportation hub and it's reliance on the actvities of multi-national corporations as a base for economic activities, globalization effects Singapore more than most any other locale.

Yes ! business cost will go up but wages are lowering because of the input of foreign workers of all kinds. Thus, companies make more money whereas workers will go poorer.(please refer to an article in "TODAY :-26/9/06" newspaper)
