When you are with a partner do you expect to achieve an orgasm or is it "normal" to do without?

I "faked it" each & every time with my last b/f - for the entire 14 mos we were lovers. He didn't ever seem to care whether or not it was real - I doubt he ever knew. So with guys like him, yeah, it's "normal" to do without. Then there are the guys who won't quit or go for penetration until you've been totally satisfied - no faking it there & I don't "do without" - ever!!!

For me it's normal to do without during intercourse. It does happen, but not that often. I've also noticed intercourse orgasms are different than the ones I have during oral or hand play. Most of the time my needs are taken care of before intercourse so that neither of us feels like we missed out, but honestly I enjoy sex even without a climax at the end.

Unfortunately it's the "norm" to do without.......it's not what we WANT, but sometimes it's just too damn much trouble to get there. By the time you give your partner all the instructions he needs to help you along, you've lost focus and the moment is gone.
I have discussed this with my husband and he says it's not like that for men........it's more like a biological function that requires no thought or concentration, and sometimes it happens without you wanting it too.......and when THAT happens, there's hardle any pleasure out of it.

Learn to pleasure yourself, it's easier to orgasm with a partner when you know your body.

It's normal to do without it, but we women tend to take our time to enjoy the experience, while men are geared to finish fast.
