Really, if you look at it
God isn't Male or Female
we only have genders to reproduce
So there is no reason for god to have a gender
its just than in history Men have been thought to be stronger than Women. So people leaned more toward the idea of god being a male.

God is referred to as the Father so that makes him male.

Gender only exists in this physical world. "god" is all you can see and all you cannot, which is all genderless.
