what have muslim women got to say?

in the gospels we read how jesus forgave and loved women who committed adultery. these women not only became his best friends but became his strong followers as well

in contrast in the koran we read how muhommed had such women murdered. knowing this well how can any woman remain in islam as a muslim? is it because they are afraid of the men or is it because these women have no other place to turn to or run away?

This is from the Bible:
"If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel" (Deut. 22:22).

"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death" (Lev. 20:10).

Actually there is a story about a woman who had commited adultery, she felt guilty so she went to consult the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) about it. She told him she wanted to face the punishment for adultery - stoning. But he told her to come back next time. When she went to see him again, he told her the same thing. And I think it was probably the 3rd time that she met him when he said Ok. As you can see he hesitated to do that to her but she kept coming back.

1. The Quran, contrary to the Bible, places equal blame on both Adam and Eve for their mistake.

2. A man asked the Prophet (pbuh): 'Whom should I honor most?' The Prophet replied: 'Your mother'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. The Prophet replied: 'Your mother'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. The Prophet replied: 'Your mother!'. 'And who comes next?' asked the man. The Prophet replied: 'Your father'. (Bukhari and Muslim).

3. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: Paradise lies at the feet of your mother.

4. "If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with them, then only one" (Quran 4:3). A Muslim man is not allowed to have another wife unless his first wife gives him permission.

5. Islam teaches women to have self respect, that's why we have to dress modestly and becareful of our relations with men.

6. Islam encourages its followers, both men and women, to get an education. The Prophet once said “To obtain knowledge travel into China if necessary.” Meaning... you should go to great lengths to learn.

The list is almost endless but I won't rub it in your face.

I feel so sorry for you to think that this crap you write is true. I am a Muslim woman and Islam gives me the same rights as men yet teaches me to be more modest to avoid problems in society like rape, adultery and other sins as such. Adultery in any religion is a sin and is wrong. Islam does not oppress women but provides liberation. I put it to you that if you were to learn about Islam that you would revert to it. (I say revert because we are all born Muslims)

I got emails from a muslim teen female pushing her faith and holy texts until I sent her this, and then she stopped defending her faith and I'm sure is now questioning it, seeing she could easily be the next woman beaten or killed and no legal recourse

inequality from religion has to be one of the main "sins" they can't see but justify and worse, have the abused to defend them the most

I'm a Muslim women and i know you talking a bunch of crap.
I converted to Islam by the way and many women still are...so why would they want to convert if Islam is what you say it is?

who suggested adult adult males get virgin women human beings or inspite of? Why do human beings make up stuff and say it really is from the Quran? And for me to flow to heaven is unquestionably each little thing all i'd like. I mean obv. im no longer sturdy sufficient to flow to heaven yet when i did flow ( inshallah i will) it really is all i'd like. =) I even don't have any choose of excepting something extra, what's extra ideal then heaven. no longer something. And what virgin women anybody is you speaking about? im soo lost. First of all I dont know which Gospel you are talking about but i don't think Jesus did that.

Adultery is a sin by the way, in case you didn't know that. And adultery and pre-marital sex come under the same category. I don't want to get into the pros and cons of adultery to the society here, we all know it.

And its a right for all human beings to choose their religion. If any woman wants o commit adultery so bad, its better she joins a more 'flexible' religion which i think none are so what's the point?

Can't they avoid a sin in the first place?!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was not practising islam 3 years ago however i was born muslim ,i regret each day passsed from my life waste without practising islam
not my mam or my dad asked my to wear al hijab ,they never force me ( i wish they did ,so not be so sorry for being far from allah all that time )

In Islam, Adulterers are only killed if they are married, and there are at least 4 Witnesses to their Adultery.
