the holy bible is a revelation from God and it should be impossible to contain mistakes or conflicting verses.
if it does then it is not holy, right.

Jesus said, "Woe to the scribes." They were the ones who
copied the verses so others could read them. They didn't have
printing presses back then. And they not only changed things
to their own understanding, but undoubtedly made human errors
as well.
The Book doesn't contradict itself regarding spiritual things. It looks at both sides of the story. We tend to see the things that
agree with our personal point of view, and ignore the things that
don't.
When we read any inspired writing, we should ask for guidance
and wisdom from our Highest Power. If we get a little too
conservative. The Holy Spirit will lead us to something more
liberal. If we get a little too liberal. The Spirirt will lead us to
something more conservative.
Our Creator knows we are emotional beings, and go to too
many extremes of thinking. But our Creator wants us to
have an EVEN , mind.

Chariots were driven by one man each--people on horse were considered footmen, have you ever spelled someone's name wrong/slightly different in another language/regional dialect?

Do you consider yourself to know more than God? Of those many more contradictions--you need to remember the purpose of the Bible is to share with us Gods revelation to us, it is not a history book or a work of science. Read with the guidance of the Holy Spirit by first asking God what He wants you to know and/or understand.

"While it is true that the Christian will never find a contradiction between the propositions of reason and his religious beliefs, this is true only because he will never permit such contradictions to exist." [George H. Smith, "Atheism, The Case Against God"]

They will do all kinds of mental gymnastics to convince themselves that contradictions do not exist. They are going in with a mindset that the book must be true and it must be good. They are viewing it through rose colored glasses that distort their ability to think rationally.

Is this really a contradiction? Or is it just a different author. Is one way physical and another spiritual. Was the place known by different names? Is the overall message the same..I think yes. Usually if I have a problem with conflict, I study it until I can know the truth.

We tend to forget that the Bible was ONLY INSPIRED by God. It was written by men. There was only one perfect man in the Bible, that was Jesus. The men who wrote the Bible , were humans who could make errors. It was, also, written by different men, in different times, in different places. Try this. If you and your friends go to a movie, (the same movie) and are asked separately what the movie was about, you will probably each describe it differently, even though it was the same movie. THUS...........

The verses do not conflict. Context must be taken into account and never forget that the Bible is not written in chronological order. Research. Learn and know. The Bible commands that you use your intellect. Unlike islam.

Taking verses out of context will give the impression that the Bible is flawed. However, the Bible is NOT flawed, it is the Inspired Word of God. So please have respect.
