I think you cannot do anything to receding gums. All you can do is to stop the situation from worsening. Like brushing your teeth lightly, use dental floss and visit the dentist regularly.

NO....there is definitely no cure for receding gums. There is however a procedure in rare cases, where they will take small little skin grafts from the tongue and sew them along the gum line. It is not done very often at all. Just make sure you do whatever it takes to stop further damage. See your dentist, get a good cleaning with fluoride treatment and (if you can't brush after every meal) wash your mouth out a peroxide and water solution a few times daily.

I VISITED MY DETIST WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, It may be gum disease or the early stages of it. But if you brush your teeth properly and floss every day without over doing it then you should be fine. Mine seems to have steadied i do find it hard flossing everyday and must admit dont always manage it but do it as much as you can but not several times a day this would be to harsh on your gums i susspect.
As for brushing he said to brush with a medium or soft brush from your gums up to the tip of your teeth, so make surer you brush your teethe al the way from their base.
Also ANTI-BACTERIA mouth wash is NOT GOOD as it also kills good bacteria which help your gums so just brush and floss.

I have that problem but only on 3 teeth, it is very sensitive up at the top & to fix it my dentist said he can remove skin from the roof of my mouth & stitch it over the effected area. But as the others have said to prevent it from happening to any others he told me to not use as much force when brushing.

My dentist told me it is because I brush them too hard and suggested I use a Phillips electric tooth brush.

The cost about £70 and new heads are about £15 but you only change them twice a year

No, but you can stop it getting worse by flossing twice a day and make sure you dont brush too hard. But your dentist should have already told you that.
