The audio is comping but the video is not.

You need a video codec pack. Get a free complete codec from the link below. Good luck!

You really need to know what format the video is in and then download and install the appropriate codec.
I strongly suspect the videos you are trying are in either DivX or XviD format. In which case download the free DivX software from www.divx.com.
If that doesn't help then try visting some of the video forums like:
http://www.videohelp.com/
They'll have more detailed information there and there are tools available checking what format the video is in.

The codec issue can be very complicated. I would suggest you download the free video player from VLC at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html. This copes with virtually every format of video available around.

I know the problem.First u have to find what format ur video is.then get the formate converter on net then u can play ur video.

It helps to have a zip de-compresser like Winrar, that helps play files that don't work.
If that doesn't help you should also try install the latest Windows Media Player and / or Real Player. (not real one player)
