What's a good birthday/Christmas gift for a teenage boy? (He is really into video games, anime, drawing, weapons, etc.) Last year I got him a really nice sword, something that was on his list for years and years - I want to get him something good this year, too, but I don't want it to be a letdown... Any suggestions?

Video games - An Xbox 360 (I would say the Wii, but that won't come out until this November)
Anime - Does he like Yu-Gi-Oh!? Then get him the Season one Tin package
Drawing - A Drawing Pad with 100 sheets and some coloring pencils
Weapons - Any Nerf blaster or Super Soaker
Etc - Have you asked him what he likes the most? Try it and then take any of my advice or go with your instincts.

I would avoid feeding the Video Game craze. If he is into drawing -- how about a complete art set. watercolors, pastels, oils, acrylics, nice colored pencil set, and some good quality paper. An easel or drafting table is always helpful. This would be very expensive to purchase all but one or two would be nice and something you can add on to at Christmas and birthdays.
Also Painting lessons are not all that expensive.

Boys that age love and appreciate gift cards to places called the "game stop". You can usually find one in a mall or near a shopping center. Video game accessories are always a hit with them.
