I have got a new mobile on T-Mobile but I dont get a signal in my house so i need to get it unlocked so i can use my old orange sim card. My friend works in the Link and he can get it done for me but not till Saturday. Do any other stores unlock phones, such as Vodafone, O2, etc?

Really you need to find an independant mobile phone shop, (one that is not o2 or voda or anything) they will be able to do it, or you can look in your phone book and they will have loads of ads to do this in your area. Alternatively, search for phone unlockers on the web, that may be of some use. O2 and voda shops an that dont usually unlock phones as its not strictly good policy if you know what I mean. Hope this helped.

no offence carol but do you ever read the answers on this site as this question has been answered many times by me and others but hey thanks for the points, the answer is yes look in your local directory or yellow pages for little shops that do mobile phone unlocking and accessories or take it to your local market most of them have a stall that will unlock phones and it takes minutes and approx £10 depending where you live

Stores like vodafone etc are very unlikely to do it for you. The best place to go is in your local street market or local mobile phone shop and should do it for you. If you are in london there lots of places

i think you're like me and merely choose to regulate networks, e.g. Orange to O2. regrettably, the A62 is a pig to loose up, and demands a cut back in a music on the circuit board, very comfortable, in all probability to break the telephone. There are not any trouble-free codes you could enter by using the keypad, so which you would be able to no longer in trouble-free terms bypass right into a keep merchandising "We loose up telephones", as some have reported. I in trouble-free terms paid £20 for my A62, so I took the view that it rather is now rather actual worth the difficulty and threat attempting to loose up it, and could in all probability purchase yet another £20 telephone from O2. the different responders could feel embarrassment approximately themselves, the two accusing you of stealing the telephone, or betraying finished lack of understanding of the telephone you asked approximately....

Depends what phone it is. If its a Nokia then that is very easy to unlock. some other makes of phone are easy to unlock as well but Nokia is easiest. you could try asking the network provider but they usually require you to have spent so much money with them before they will do it for you.
