They believe that it originally came from monkeys in Africa. Now since AIDS is only spread through sexual contact they don't really know how it made the jump from monkey's to humans. Unless somebody had sex with a monkey. How the monkeys got it is still a mystery. They think it might have started in a similar way the Ebola virus did. But they are not sure.
However, the earliest known case of AIDS comes from a man who in 1945 died of a "mysterious illness" an autopsy was performed on the corpse in the late 1980's and it was determined the man died of AIDS. How this was discovered I don't know but you can check out the web sight. Just type in "earliest case of AIDS Virus"
The problem with AIDS is it is a virus not a disease and this makes it extremely difficult to track. But not impossible. Because it is mutating all the time it also makes it hard to kill. That is why there is no cure for it yet. It is much harder to track and kill a virus than a disease.

aids was made by the government as a tool to eliminate the less forunate so limited natural resources would not be wasted on them but for the forunate ones.

well, apparently from a monkey, and it is said that none knows how a human contracted it....my theory is a monkey bit a human, but that is just a theory...
